The journalist and writer Peter Jennings died earlier this week in Birmingham, aged 65, CTS is sad to report.
Peter’s links with CTS spanned many years, and covered the two Papal UK visits over the last 25 years.
Peter was a great friend of CTS, and contributed to our work through his writings and editorial comment and advice. His skills, interests and talents spread across many fields.
Recent publications included the Official Record of Pope Benedict XVI’s State Visit to UK, a new biography on Pope Francis, penned in Rome as the conclave concluded, and his celebrated booklet on the miraculous cure leading to Cardinal John Henry Newman’s beatification – a cause close to his own heart.
Peter was a delight to work with and we shall miss his enthusiasm, generosity and incredible industry and warm heartedness.
All at CTS will continue to pray for him, for the repose of his soul, and for his dear family in their time of grief, loss and hope ….
For Christ is Risen, He is truly Risen.
